Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding guests, employees, and assets across the property. Working full‑time on site, you will patrol, monitor security systems, and respond swiftly to incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate EMS when needed.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and manage emergency situations.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and conduct interviews with relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and respond quickly to situations.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training, and confidentiality requirements.
