M&A Analyst – Water Infrastructure

About the role

The M&A Analyst will join Iv3 Aqua’s Global Business Development team, focusing on the identification, evaluation and execution of acquisition opportunities within the water and wastewater sector. The role supports both deal execution and the ongoing management of existing assets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct due‑diligence, including financial model analysis, review of financial statements and coordination of operational and technical assessments.
• Manage data rooms, plan due‑diligence activities and flag potential risks or value‑enhancement opportunities.
• Participate in legal review processes and assist with transaction documentation.
• Drive transaction execution through to closing and support post‑acquisition integration planning.
• Identify and evaluate new acquisition targets globally, building a pipeline of growth opportunities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of business development activities and prepare regular progress reports for senior management.
• Facilitate clear communication among internal teams and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance or related analytical roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to assess financial models and operational data.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify risks and improvement areas during due‑diligence.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
