Medical Sales Representative

About the role

United Pharma, a healthcare company focused on research and development, is hiring a full-time, on-site Medical Sales Representative based in Muscat. The representative promotes and sells pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals such as physicians, pharmacists and medical staff within an assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals in the assigned territory
• Conduct product presentations and provide scientific and clinical information
• Organize regular visits to hospitals and clinics and follow up on inquiries
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, and meet sales targets and performance metrics
• Prepare and submit sales reports, attend internal trainings and collaborate with cross-functional teams on marketing initiatives and product launches

Required profile

• Strong medical sales skills, including territory management, relationship building and achieving sales targets
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Foundational knowledge of medicine and pharmacy, including clinical applications, indications and safety profiles
• Negotiation, presentation and basic data analysis skills
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales highly beneficial
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage schedules and comply with regulatory and ethical standards
• Valid driver's license for local travel within Muscat and surrounding areas
