Night Tool Pusher

About the role

The Night Tool Pusher supports and supervises drilling operations during night shifts, acting on behalf of the Rig Superintendent. This role ensures that all activities comply with company procedures, well‑control policies, and industry standards while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising casing, cementing, well testing and specialized operations such as fishing, coring and stuck‑pipe activities.
• Maintain well‑control practices and respond to emergencies, including fire and H₂S events.
• Support rig moves, rig‑up, rig‑down and camp operations, ensuring hygiene and safe food handling.
• Implement preventive and planned maintenance programs, monitor equipment performance and recommend repairs or improvements.
• Supervise crew, guide supervisors, and provide leadership in the Tool Pusher’s absence.
• Conduct well‑control calculations, interpret downhole conditions, gauges and technical data for safe operations.
• Maintain logs, records and operational reports as required.

Required profile

• General education diploma with at least 10 years of drilling experience.
• Valid IWCF Level 4 certification.
• Proven ability to supervise crews and manage night‑shift operations.
