Operation Specialist

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding in Muscat as an Operation Specialist, supporting customer operations processes and ensuring smooth shipment handling.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support including order entry, shipping and pricing verification.
• Assist sales with quoting, exception deal management, billing corrections and account overviews.
• Plan routes, coordinate with external departments and ensure timely collection and delivery of shipments.
• Interact with import/export departments, update changes and communicate adjustments to stakeholders.
• Handle loading/unloading, security checks and report using scanning tools and phones.
• Maintain direct contact with dispatchers and cartage drivers, supporting events and exceptions.
• Enter data into databases to keep stock records up‑to‑date and respond to inventory or delivery enquiries.
• Interface with shipping agencies, transport companies and customers to verify delivery prices and schedules.

Required profile

• Vocational or technical education.
• Less than 2 years of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and compliance guidelines.
