Oracle E-Business Suite Technical Expert - Finance Modules

About the role

An experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Technical Expert for Finance Modules is sought to provide technical development, troubleshooting and production support for the Maliyah Financial Management System in Oman. The role requires strong technical and techno-functional expertise in Oracle EBS Financials, with hands-on experience in PL/SQL, OAF, CEMLI components, workflows, reports, interfaces and integrations. It is an onsite position requiring 5+ years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Maliyah financial modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM) and EBS Tax.
• Handle escalated issues from the primary support team and collaborate with functional consultants and business users to resolve application problems.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, develop technical fixes and migrate approved solutions.
• Resolve integration and interface issues, and develop, modify and maintain reports, workflows and custom components.
• Design, develop and support CEMLI components (configurations, extensions, modifications, localizations, integrations).
• Develop and maintain OAF components and personalizations, and write, optimize and troubleshoot PL/SQL code.
• Maintain issue logs, technical documentation and resolution records, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure application stability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS technical development, implementation and production support.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax).
• Hands-on experience developing CEMLI components and troubleshooting production issues.
• Preferred: experience with Oracle EBS Forms customization, Oracle SOA integrations and web services, and supporting Oracle EBS in a multilingual environment such as Arabic.
