Reservation Supervisor

About the role

The Reservation Supervisor will lead the reservations team at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, ensuring seamless booking experiences for guests while driving revenue across all reservation channels. This position combines operational excellence with proactive sales support in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to maximise revenue and profit for all reservation channels.
• Handle room and group reservations, ensuring accurate entry and confirmation within 24 hours.
• Operate the Opera (or equivalent) property management system and maintain up‑to‑date guest profiles.
• Answer all incoming reservation calls in line with hotel standards and provide courteous, prompt assistance.
• Promote up‑selling and cross‑selling opportunities, identify sales leads and support the hotel’s sales activities.
• Maintain filing, fax handling, and daily administrative procedures to company standards.
• Monitor and update rates and availability on CRS, extranets and other distribution channels.
• Assist the Reservations Manager with weekly and monthly performance reports.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of room and group reservation procedures.
• Strong familiarity with Opera PMS (or similar) and CRS/extranet systems.
• Professional, helpful attitude with excellent phone etiquette.
• Ability to follow credit policy, guarantee procedures and rate‑management guidelines.
• Willingness to attend training sessions and adapt to new processes.
