Reservations Agent – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Reservations Agent to join our team at the Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort. In this role you will manage room and group bookings, provide exceptional service to guests and support the hotel’s sales objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all incoming reservation calls and respond promptly following hotel standards.
• Process room and group reservations using the Opera system (or equivalent) and maintain accurate guest profiles.
• Confirm reservations and special requests within 24 hours and manage rate structures, promotions and up‑sell opportunities.
• Monitor online reservation channels (CRS, extranets) multiple times daily, updating rates and availability.
• Prepare daily filing, fax handling and ensure all administrative procedures meet company standards.
• Assist the Reservations Manager with weekly and monthly reporting.
• Identify sales leads, promote cross‑selling and adhere to the hotel’s credit policy.

• Good communication skills and willingness to attend training sessions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera reservation system (or similar).
• Experience using Central Reservation Systems (CRS) and managing online booking channels.
• Understanding of rate structures, promotions and basic credit policy application.
