About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join a leading Hardox Wearparts team in Muscat. The role blends technical engineering knowledge with customer‑facing sales activities, helping clients in mining, construction, oil & gas, recycling, cement, and heavy equipment sectors find reliable wear‑resistant steel solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple industries.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers and build long‑term relationships.
  • Analyse wear‑related problems and recommend appropriate steel solutions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical reports.
  • Coordinate with fabrication, production, and service teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Collaborate with technical partners for product support and application guidance.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
  • Provide after‑sales support and customer service.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, technical support, or engineering within industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Self‑motivated, confident, and capable of working independently or within a team.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of steel materials and wear‑resistant products.
  • Understanding of fabrication processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with Hardox steel products and applications (preferred).
