Sales Engineer – Heavy Equipment Attachments, Oman

About the role

KEMROC, a German manufacturer of excavator attachments such as chain cutters, cutter wheels, drum cutters and milling solutions, is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer for Oman. The role promotes and sells excavator attachments to prospective clients, works with technical teams to tailor solutions and provides technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage customer relationships and present tailored solutions
• Conduct product demonstrations and give in-depth technical advice
• Gather customer requirements and recommend accurate products
• Address client inquiries and build long-term relationships
• Identify new market segments and business opportunities in Oman
• Travel within Oman to meet clients, visit project sites and provide on-site support

Required profile

• Experience selling excavator attachments such as hydraulic hammers and demolition shears (5-8 years), or 10+ years as a site/project engineer in infrastructure, drainage or tunnelling projects
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering; other engineering degrees or vocational experience highly desirable
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic or German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel within Oman as required

Required skills

• Sales engineering and sales of technical products in the heavy equipment industry
• Strong technical support and ability to explain product specifications for construction machinery
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Understanding of the Oman market, including projects, government contracts and major contractors
