Sales Manager

About the role

deugro is seeking a Sales Manager to drive new business and manage client relationships in Muscat, Oman. You will work within the freight forwarding, oil & gas and project logistics market, delivering tailored logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding, oil & gas and project logistics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Understand customer requirements and develop tailored logistics solutions in collaboration with operational teams.
• Manage the full sales cycle from contact to proposal, negotiation, contract award and post‑sales support.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals and tender submissions.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close new business opportunities.
• Achieve revenue and growth targets while contributing to the overall sales strategy.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within the CRM system.
• Represent deugro at client meetings, industry events, conferences and trade shows.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales or key account management within freight forwarding, project logistics or related industries.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of winning new business.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working in a target‑oriented environment.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of international transportation solutions including air freight, ocean freight, road transportation and project cargo.
• Proficiency in CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent English communication skills.
