SAP IS Retail MM/SD Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP IS Retail MM/SD Specialist to manage and optimise the Material Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules within an IS Retail environment. The role will ensure seamless procurement, inventory, and sales processes across multiple retail channels, supporting cross‑functional teams to deliver efficient material and goods flow.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage SAP MM processes integrated with IS Retail, including master data for articles, assortments, prices, promotions and business partners.
• Configure and support procurement cycles – purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt and invoice verification – and maintain vendor master data.
• Implement and configure SAP SD for retail, covering sales order processing, pricing, billing, credit management and cross‑channel fulfilment.
• Handle retail‑specific functions such as promotions, assortments, markdowns, store replenishment and e‑commerce order processing.
• Manage IDoc flows and integration between MM, SD and other modules (FI/CO, WM).
• Optimise inventory levels, stock transfers, cycle counting and physical inventory processes.
• Support merchandising activities, including price management, markdowns, hierarchy concepts and forecasting.
• Collaborate with finance, logistics and sales teams to ensure smooth retail operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience with SAP MM and SD modules within an IS Retail context.
• Strong understanding of retail procurement, inventory and order‑to‑cash processes.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and translate business needs into SAP solutions.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on continuous improvement of material and goods flow.
