Senior Associate – Asset Management

About the role

The Senior Associate will support the Director of Gas & New Energies in shaping portfolio strategy, monitoring performance, and driving operational excellence across gas production and renewable energy assets. The role combines data‑driven analysis with strategic decision support to optimise asset value and financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing annual plans, long‑term strategies, and performance forecasts for gas and new‑energy portfolios.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards covering production, uptime, cost efficiency, revenue and profitability.
• Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for gas and renewables assets.
• Collaborate on cost‑benefit analyses, lifecycle cost assessments and economic evaluations of projects.
• Identify and assess market, technical and regulatory risks; develop risk models and mitigation plans.
• Conduct scenario analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Enhance data quality, accessibility and visualisation in partnership with digital and IT teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, energy systems or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10 years of experience in business analysis, strategy or performance management within oil & gas, energy or utilities.
• Strong understanding of gas production operations and/or renewable energy technologies.
• Proven experience in financial modelling, data analytics and business case evaluation.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
