Senior Frontend Developer (React & TypeScript)

About the role

RQMNA is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to create web interfaces used by millions of citizens. You will work on a high‑code front‑end built with React and TypeScript, extending Liferay and Mendix platforms, and delivering a fully bilingual Arabic right‑to‑left experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive, accessible web interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript.
• Develop custom high‑code front‑ends and extend low‑code portals with Liferay client extensions and Mendix pluggable widgets.
• Consume REST and OData APIs, manage front‑end state efficiently, and ensure optimal performance and bundle size.
• Implement Arabic right‑to‑left layout, typography and bilingual UI while adhering to WCAG accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with the shared design system team, uphold front‑end coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Maintain code quality, write reusable components, and conduct thorough testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience building production‑grade web front‑ends at scale.
• Deep expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and fluency in TypeScript and React.
• Experience extending platforms such as Liferay or Mendix, or ability to learn quickly.
• Hands‑on experience with Arabic right‑to‑left or other bidirectional/localized interfaces.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent professional track.
