Senior Sales Engineer – Fire Protection & Security Systems

About the role

Johnson Controls is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to grow its Fire Protection and Security Systems business in Oman. The role blends technical expertise with sales execution to develop opportunities, shape solutions, and support tendering and bidding for oil and gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, pursue and close new sales opportunities across Oman.
• Prepare competitive, high‑quality proposals that meet customer requirements and commercial expectations.
• Support tendering and bidding activities through technical and commercial coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Use market awareness to understand competitor offerings and respond effectively during the sales cycle.
• Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships, focusing on territory growth and repeat business.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales and contracting teams to support solution design and deal progression.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience delivering sales targets in Oman, specifically fire & gas, fire protection and security systems for the oil & gas sector.
• Proven ability to design technical solutions, select equipment and advise customers on best‑fit options.
• Fluent English and a valid Oman driving licence.
