Senior Treasury Specialist

About the role

The Senior Treasury Specialist will execute core treasury functions, including cash forecasting, cash‑flow monitoring, electronic payments, financing transactions, short‑term investments, and bank relationship management. The role supports the company’s strategic objectives while adhering to internal policies, HSE standards, Omani regulations, and international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse cash‑flow forecast reports, identifying deviations and corrective actions.
• Plan cash positioning, initiate electronic treasury payments and record inter‑bank cash transactions.
• Monitor treasury payments, debt drawdowns, covenant compliance and optimal utilization of surplus funds.
• Participate in FX transactions, fixed‑deposit placements and monthly performance reporting.
• Manage bank account opening/closing, KYC processes and authorization mandates.
• Respond to queries from banks, lenders, tax authorities and auditors.
• Maintain the treasury trial balance, ensure accurate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and disclosures.
• Support capital‑structure management, scenario analysis and medium‑term funding strategies.
• Identify and drive process standardisation and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies and collaborate on Treasury Management System implementation.

Required profile

• Significant experience in treasury operations, cash forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Proven ability to handle electronic payments, FX transactions and short‑term investments.
• Strong knowledge of debt utilization, covenant monitoring and working‑capital management.
• Experience in bank relationship management, KYC procedures and account authorisation.
• Ability to prepare accurate treasury reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with treasury risk registers, risk mitigation and compliance monitoring.
• Competence in supporting capital‑structure decisions and financial planning.
