Storekeeper – Construction Site Materials Management

About the role

The Storekeeper will oversee all store activities on construction sites, ensuring that materials, tools, and equipment are received, stored, tracked, and issued efficiently. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting project execution, and upholding HSE and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for all materials, consumables, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and trigger replenishment requests as needed.
• Receive deliveries, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect for quality and damages.
• Issue materials to authorized personnel and keep proper documentation.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of items according to company procedures.
• Update ERP systems and prepare periodic inventory and stock movement reports.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate records.
• Comply with HSE policies, ensure safe handling, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, or inventory management within the construction sector.
