Switchgear Wireman / Panel Wiring Technician

About the role

We are a leading electrical switchgear and panel manufacturing company in Oman seeking an experienced Switchgear Wireman / Panel Wiring Technician. The successful candidate will join our on‑site team to assemble and wire LV/MV control panels, distribution boards and MCC panels to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform wiring and assembly of LV/MV electrical control panels, MCC panels, distribution boards and switchgear panels.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Install, connect and terminate components, including cable dressing, ferruling, labeling and point‑to‑point wiring.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality and compliance with HSE requirements.
• Identify and correct wiring errors or electrical faults.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in panel wiring and assembly (LV/MV control panels, distribution boards, MCC panels).
• Practical knowledge of electrical components, wiring standards and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
