Vice President - Treasury Corporate Sales (Omanization)

About the role

QNB, established in 1964 as Qatar's first Qatari-owned commercial bank and now the largest bank in the Middle East and Africa, is hiring a Vice President for Treasury Corporate Sales. The incumbent executes the marketing process for all Treasury products sold to corporate clients, supervises profitable sales and implements the Group's strategy to position QNB in the corporate Treasury segment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with product queries and meet service level agreements with internal departments to improve turnaround times
• Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and with internal departments such as Audit, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk
• Ensure compliance with sales call and visit policies, product presentations, contact databases and MIS on profitability and revenue
• Liaise with Group Treasury to identify potential customers and cross-sell treasury services, and train Corporate Banking staff on them
• Develop new corporate relationships within delegated authority, act as focal point for contentious issues and build a motivated, professionally trained team
• Take part in corporate product development, share customer needs and market opportunities with the Country GM and Group Treasury, and set meetings and visits with corporate customers
• Network with corporate customers and marketing groups to gather feedback, benchmark selling techniques and stay updated on market and product developments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Mathematics or Economics (related field)
• 12 years of banking experience, including at least 4 years in Treasury Sales
• An MBA, CFA or a related professional certification is a plus
