Wire Drawing Operator

About the role

The Wire Drawing Operator joins the Production Team to ensure smooth, continuous operation of wire drawing machines. You will work closely with supervisors and maintenance staff to meet production specifications while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Attend daily task allocation meetings with the supervisor.
• Inspect wire drawing machines and raw material specifications each shift.
• Verify production orders against machine specifications and mandates.
• Record any machine faults in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Notify the supervisor promptly when maintenance is required.

Required profile

• Secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience operating wire drawing machines.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Basic literacy in reading technical specifications and work orders.

Required skills

• Operation of wire drawing machinery.
• Use of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) for fault logging.
• Inspection of raw material specifications.
