Finance Manager / Investment Manager – Private Investment Office

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Investment Manager to join a prominent private investment office in Muscat as it transitions into a newly licensed asset‑management entity. This early‑stage hire will help build the financial foundation of the platform and support senior leadership with strategic analysis and investment recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor multi‑asset portfolios, including equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate and alternatives.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and investment research.
• Prepare investment proposals, financial models and business cases for new opportunities.
• Support asset allocation, portfolio optimisation and performance monitoring.
• Liaise with external fund managers, advisors, banks, auditors and investment partners.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with investment policies, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent preferred.
• 8–15 years of experience in family offices, private wealth, asset management, investment banking, private equity or institutional investments.
• Strong understanding of portfolio management, asset allocation and investment analysis.
• Experience working with UHNW individuals, family offices or sovereign wealth funds is highly desirable.
