SAP FICO Consultant – Joint Venture Accounting (JVA)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with deep expertise in Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) to join our SAP practice in Oman. The consultant will lead the configuration, implementation, and support of the SAP JVA module within the broader FICO landscape, primarily for clients in the Oil & Gas, Energy, and Infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy the SAP JVA module, including Venture Masters, Equity Groups, and partner billing cycles.
• Set up cut‑back processing, overhead netting, carried‑interest and working‑interest structures.
• Integrate JVA with SAP FI, CO, AM, and PS components and manage document splitting for partner‑level reporting.
• Configure SAP General Ledger (New GL), profit centre accounting, parallel ledgers, AP/AR, and Asset Accounting.
• Support Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and inter‑company JVA settlements.
• Conduct workshops, gather requirements, produce functional specifications, and lead testing phases (unit, SIT, UAT).

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in SAP FICO, with at least 5 years focused on SAP JVA.
• Strong knowledge of joint‑venture structures, venture partner billing, and regulatory requirements in the GCC.
• Proven ability to work with finance teams, project managers, and technical architects.
