Senior Manager – Investment Banking Advisory

About the role

The Senior Manager – Investment Banking Advisory will act as a strategic advisor to corporate clients, designing financing strategies and raising capital across debt and equity markets. The role covers public offerings, private placements, syndicated financing, and Islamic capital market structures such as sukuk.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture client relationships, delivering tailored financial solutions and market insights.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving growth for the Investment Banking unit.
• Lead execution of transactions including IPOs, private placements, syndications, restructurings, project finance and buyouts.
• Oversee end‑to‑end due diligence, financial modeling, pitch‑book preparation and transaction documentation.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance and other internal teams to ensure seamless execution and regulatory adherence.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape and market developments to inform strategy.
• Achieve revenue and profitability targets, manage budgets and present performance reports to senior management.
• Position the bank as a leading provider of Islamic investment banking solutions in Oman and the GCC.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in banking or financial institutions, with at least 5 years in investment banking.
• Proven track record in DCM, ECM, syndicated financing, M&A and deal structuring.
• Experience with Islamic capital markets, sukuk and Sharia‑compliant financing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CFA or FRM are desirable.
