Chef de Cuisine – Signature Musandam Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary experience at our signature Musandam restaurant within InterContinental Muscat. You will be responsible for creating innovative, multicultural menus across all meal periods while delivering exceptional dining moments that reflect our brand’s commitment to true hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously refresh menus, showcasing multi‑skilled cuisines for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Collaborate with Pastry, Bakery, and Garde‑Manger teams to ensure cohesive, contemporary menu design.
• Engage directly with guests, gather feedback, and adjust offerings to exceed expectations.
• Lead, coach, and inspire a diverse kitchen brigade of Omani and international chefs.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with IHG culinary standards.
• Maintain HACCP, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.
• Manage food cost, inventory, and budgeting to meet financial targets.
• Support banqueting operations and collaborate with broader F&B teams for hotel‑wide food offerings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior culinary leadership role, preferably within a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant.
• Strong ability to mentor and develop kitchen staff from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent guest‑focused mindset with a passion for culinary innovation.
• Demonstrated track record of maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
