Audit Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead external audit engagements for our operations in Oman. The role involves managing teams, building client relationships, and ensuring high‑quality audit deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Supervise, coach and mentor audit teams, ensuring professional growth and high‑quality work.
• Identify key risks and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Manage the financial aspects of audit engagements, including billing and collections.

Required profile

• Eight or more years of external audit experience, including managing audit engagements.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Experience managing client relationships and reviewing complex audit engagements.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Working knowledge of applicable regulatory and statutory requirements in Oman.
• Experience in group audits, component coordination and reporting packages.
