Assistant Learning & Development Manager

About the role

The Assistant Learning & Development Manager will support the hotel’s learning and development strategy by coordinating, delivering and evaluating training programmes that enhance employee performance, service excellence and career growth. This role is central to fostering a culture of continuous learning while ensuring compliance with Minor Hotels and Tivoli brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the annual Learning & Development strategy and training calendar.
• Coordinate mandatory and operational training programmes, including induction and orientation for new team members.
• Facilitate brand culture, service excellence and guest experience training.
• Support departmental trainers in planning and delivering monthly training sessions and leadership development programmes.
• Maintain accurate employee training records, training matrices and manage the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Prepare weekly and monthly training reports, KPI dashboards and monitor training attendance and certification validity.
• Ensure completion of mandatory compliance training such as fire & life safety, health & safety, food safety, data privacy and brand standards.
• Support individual development plans, training needs analysis, succession planning and talent development initiatives.
• Assist with employee engagement activities, learning campaigns, workshops and CSR or wellness events.
