About the role
NeoSec, an Oman‑based cybersecurity and AI firm, is seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to help expand its client base across Oman and the GCC. This entry‑level position offers exposure to cutting‑edge security solutions and the chance to work closely with founders and technical teams.
Key responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective clients in the Oman and GCC markets.
- Initiate contact through LinkedIn, email, phone calls, and networking events.
- Support lead generation, qualification, and scheduling of demos or discovery calls.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and keep the sales pipeline up to date.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and follow‑up materials.
- Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to understand NeoSec’s AI‑powered security offerings.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs in cybersecurity and AI.
- Represent NeoSec professionally at meetings, events, and online outreach.
Required profile
- 0–5 years of experience in business development, sales, customer success, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Interest in cybersecurity, AI, SaaS, or technology solutions.
- Confident in building relationships with new contacts.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable with follow‑up activities.
- Willingness to learn technical concepts and explain them in business terms.
Required skills
- Basic understanding of LinkedIn outreach and email communication.
- Experience using CRM tools.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as threat intelligence, SOC, MDR, and penetration testing.
- Knowledge of AI and related technology solutions.
