Chef de Partie

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at St. Regis Al Mouj, Muscat. The successful candidate will prepare high‑quality dishes, maintain kitchen standards, and support the service team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation and quality standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters and ensure proper food thawing and storage.
• Pull items from freezer, portion, arrange and garnish dishes, and maintain accurate food logs.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials, and communicate menu specials or out‑of‑stock items to service staff.
• Prepare cold foods and assist with daily kitchen operations during busy periods.
• Follow all safety, hygiene and company policies, report maintenance needs and maintain a clean, professional appearance.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school qualification in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent in a hotel or resort kitchen.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Operation of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters.
• Food thawing, portioning and garnishing techniques.
• Food safety and hygiene compliance.
