About the role
The Civil Technical Office Engineer supports the senior technical office team in managing construction documentation, coordinating with surveyors and subcontractors, and ensuring smooth project execution.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare client and subcontractor invoices and maintain the shop drawing log.
- Review subcontractors’ shop drawings and coordinate approvals with the project consultant.
- Study project contract documents, BOQ, and specifications to verify compliance.
- Prepare and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs) for any technical issues that arise during construction.
- Coordinate with the Surveying Engineer to provide land coordinates and site measurements.
Required profile
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a technical office or construction environment.
- Strong teamwork, analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
Required skills
- Shop drawing review and coordination.
- Bill of Quantities (BOQ) analysis.
- Preparation of Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Basic invoicing and documentation handling.
