EIT Supervisor – Electrical & Instrumentation Quality

About the role

We are looking for an experienced EIT Supervisor to lead electrical and instrumentation quality supervision for offshore hydrocarbon projects in Sohar, Oman. The role involves overseeing inspection activities at fabrication yards and on‑site locations to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise E&I quality inspection activities at fabrication yards and project sites.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, ITPs, method statements and relevant codes/standards.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, commissioning and client inspection teams.
• Monitor installation quality of cable trays, power and control cables, earthing and lightning protection, junction boxes, panels, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, instrument tubing, impulse lines and field instruments.
• Conduct and witness inspections and tests such as cable continuity, insulation resistance, earthing resistance, instrument calibration, loop checking and functional testing.
• Review test reports and inspection records to verify compliance before pre‑commissioning.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–20 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation quality supervision, preferably in offshore or hydrocarbon projects.
• Strong knowledge of project specifications, ITPs, method statements and applicable codes/standards.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and client representatives.
