Front Desk Agent

About the role

The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from arrival to departure. You will manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, respond to guest inquiries, and maintain accurate guest records while collaborating with other hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver courteous, prompt service to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Greet guests by name, escort them to rooms, and provide hotel and local information.
• Handle reservations, in‑room familiarisation, and guest requests.
• Maintain awareness of daily rate and occupancy levels for informed decision‑making.
• Process incidental charges using the hotel’s computerized Front Office system and ensure accurate posting.
• Safeguard guest privacy and adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in line with organizational policies.
