Procurement and Finance Officer

About the role

BioThrive Group of Companies, a collective of health brands focused on holistic well-being, natural beauty and sustainable practices, is hiring a full-time, on-site Procurement and Finance Officer in Masqat, Oman. The role combines purchasing activities with financial reporting and budget support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities: source suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure goods and services are acquired on time and cost-effectively.
• Review and process purchase orders and monitor inventory levels.
• Coordinate with internal teams so procurement matches operational needs.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and support financial reporting.
• Track expenditures and assist with budgeting and cost control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, keep accurate records and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Strong finance knowledge with experience in Finance, Financial Reporting and handling financial statements.
• Experience in procurement, vendor management and contract negotiation in a corporate or retail environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Masqat, Oman and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Omani nationality required.

Required skills

• Analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate supplier proposals and support budgeting and cost control.
• Effective communication with suppliers, internal teams and management.
• Proficiency with financial and procurement software such as ERP systems, spreadsheets and accounting applications.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices; basic familiarity with local regulatory and compliance requirements is an advantage.
