Senior ServiceNow Implementation & Support Specialist (Banking)

About the role

An urgent requirement for a Senior ServiceNow Implementation & Support Specialist in the banking domain, based in Muscat, Oman. The role leads the end-to-end implementation, administration, customization, integration and support of an on-premises ServiceNow platform, covering ITSM, CMDB, discovery, service catalog, portal, integrations, automation and platform governance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer on-premises ServiceNow instances, nodes, databases and MID Servers, including upgrades, patching, performance tuning and capacity planning
• Implement security controls such as RBAC, ACLs, SSO, LDAP and SAML
• Configure Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Knowledge and Request Management, including SLAs, escalation workflows, KEDB, RCA and CAB/eCAB approval processes
• Build Service Catalogs, Record Producers, Approval Workflows and Service Portals using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AngularJS
• Design CMDB architecture, deploy MID Servers, configure Discovery and integrate with monitoring and asset platforms
• Develop REST/SOAP integrations with Active Directory, LDAP, email gateways and third-party tools, plus automation workflows and Flow Designer
• Lead data migration with Import Sets and Transform Maps, and manage SIT, UAT, production deployment and hypercare
• Provide L2/L3 support, manage incidents, problems and changes per ITIL, and mentor administrators and developers

Required profile

• 8+ years in IT service management and enterprise IT operations
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow administration, development and implementation
• Strong experience with on-premises ServiceNow, MID Servers and banking/enterprise environments
• Experience in production support, upgrades, release management and hypercare
